A man who disappeared while swimming in the River Weaver in Nantwich, has died.
The man, 59, disappeared underwater during the incident close to the weir off Mill Island, sparking a massive police and fire rescue operation.
Police divers have been searching the River Weaver in Nantwich today (May 7) amid reports of a missing person.
Police, fire crews and paramedics have been on the scene most of the afternoon at Riverside on the west side near Mill Island in Nantwich.
