Nantwich Town chairman Jon Gold has paid tribute to departing manager Danny Johnson.
Johnson, in charge for two seasons, left the Weaver Stadium club last night after talks with the board.

Nantwich Town’s new assistant manager Wayne Goodison believes his role at the Weaver Stadium fits him perfectly.
Goodison made his debut in the dugout alongside Danny Johnson and first team coach Nigel Deeley when they welcomed Wayne’s former club Trafford to South Cheshire.

Nantwich Town could not break through a stubborn Trafford defence and had to settle for a point in a goalless draw at the Weaver Stadium.
It was the first time Nantwich have failed to score in a home match since the visit of Grantham Town in September.
Nantwich Town has appointed Wayne Goodison as its new assistant manager.
Dabbers boss Danny Johnson said he was delighted at the move to bring Goodison to the Weaver Stadium.
