Crewe and Nantwich MP Dr Kieran Mullan has confirmed he “could not support the Prime Minister” in last night’s confidence vote.
Boris Johnson won the vote, but more than 40% of his Tory MPs voted to remove him, which many feel has left him in a precarious position.

I was disappointed by the irrelevant bluster that Dr Mullan threw at us as justification for his voting to allow water companies to dump raw sewage onto our rivers and on to our beaches.
Under current laws many water companies have been fined for just this practice.
Crewe and Nantwich MP saying voting for a change to a planned Environment Bill outlawing sewage dumping is not financially practical.
