Crewe & Nantwich RUFC ladies captain Mollie Latham has scooped the National Rugby Awards Female Player of the Year at Twickenham!
Mollie was shortlisted for the award after her amazing achievements in leading the Vagrants ladies team as well as her wider role in the club.
Pupils from Malbank School and Sixth Form College enjoyed a day to remember at Twickenham when they paraded as flagbearers on the pitch ahead of England’s NatWest 6 Nations clash with Wales.
The students were given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity thanks to their involvement in the CBRE All Schools programme this season.
Crewe & Nantwich piled up a club record 106-8 victory in the Midland Intermediate Cup against Bakewell Mannerians. And the team dedicated the win to their team-mate Kieran Flynn, recoving from a horrific injury in hospital.
