A controversial traffic island in Nantwich is going to be removed after causing a spate of accidents.
Cheshire East highways teams are to remove this island at the junction of Welsh Row and Queens Drive in October.
A traffic island installed on a busy Nantwich street to make it safer, has been blamed for a series of accidents. Now councillors are calling for the island, at the junction of Welsh Row and Queens Drive, to be removed – at the cost of £3,500.
