Nantwich CC 1sts’ slump in form continued as they were beaten by six wickets away at Toft. Nantwich were put into bat but were skittled out for just 161 runs off 52.5 overs.

Nantwich CC fell just short of victory at home to Toft in another rain-affected Cheshire County Premier League clash. Nantwich batted first on their home strip at Whitehouse Lane, but were soon in trouble and were reduced to 58 for 7.
Nantwich CC crowned league champions with Toft victory
Nantwich CC 1st XI clinched their second successive Cheshire County Premier League title with a six-wicket victory over Toft at a jubilant Whitehouse Lane. Nantwich captain Andrew Newton put the visitors into bat knowing the hosts needed just two points to retain the league crown.
