Timber firm TFC has helped Leighton Hospital Children’s Centre stay on track – by donating this amazing Timber Train!
TFC Supplies Ltd donated the train for the outside play area at the hospital, following its recent £1.1m refurbishment of the children’s ward.
The chairman of a timber company has welcomed a jail sentence for a former director from Nantwich who swindled the firm out of thousands of pounds.
Nigel Bacon (pictured), 53, of Newbold Way, was sentenced to 32 months in prison at Caernarfon Crown Court after he admitted defrauding Clifford Jones Timber, the UK’s largest manufacturer of fence posts.
Firefighters tackled a fire at a timber yard in Wardle, Nantwich.
Crews from Nantwich, Crewe and Chester fought the fire which broke out in extraction pipes.
