By Claire Faulkner Nantwich Town Square was packed as visitors enjoyed the first “Societies Spectacular” in summer sunshine. The event, organised by Cllr Stuart Hutton, introduced people to the range of clubs, organisations and societies in the town.
An event to raise awareness among residents of local societies will be staged in Nantwich Town Square on July 21. The ‘Societies Spectacular’ will see around 30 clubs and groups giving displays and demonstrations in the town square.
Town councillors have hit out at the design of the proposed new Marks & Spencer store in Nantwich. Drawings of the store, planned on the site of the former Beam Street health clinic behind the library, were viewed by councillors at a meeting this week.
