Local rail enthusiasts have been staging popular train rides once more at the Peacock Railway near Nantwich.
The days are organised by the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society and take place on their premises at the rear of The Peacock Inn, on Crewe Road, Willaston.
Nantwich Mayor David Marren joined in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society.
The society held a gala event at its headquarters behind the Peacock Hotel, on Crewe Road, Nantwich.
South Cheshire Model Engineering Society are holding their annual Open Day this Saturday September 13.
The event, between 11am and 5pm, is at the clubhouse and tracksite behind the Premier Inn and Peacock Hotel, Willaston, Nantwich.
Train fans gathered to enjoy the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society annual open day in Nantwich. The free event took place on the society’s premises at the rear of the Peacock Hotel, Crewe Road, in Willaston.
Train enthusiasts have launched an ambitious scheme to build a steam railway line between two Nantwich churches. The “Nantwich Crossrail” project would ferry visitors between the Methodist church on Hospital Street and St Mary’s Church in the town square.
