A 27-year-old man is being questioned over the death of Nantwich dad Neil Shoane on the A530 road near Aston.
Neil, 44, is alleged to have been struck by a vehicle which left the scene as he walked home from Nantwich to Aston on Sunday July 2.
The family of Neil Shoane, who died in an alleged fail to stop collision on the A530 near Nantwich, have paid tribute to him.
Local dad Neil, 44, was walking towards Aston from Nantwich when police believe he was hit by a passing vehicle which failed to stop.
