By Jonathan White Hundreds have been enjoying the sun at the 33rd Marbury Merry Days two-day country fair yesterday and today (May 12 and 13) The fair is staged in the field next to St Michael’s & All Angels Parish Church and Marbury Big Mere, three miles from Wrenbury, near Nantwich.
Organisers of the Holly Holy Day event staged to celebrate the 1644 Battle of Nantwich are gearing up for another massive event this weekend. Full details of everything on offer this Saturday (January 21) have been released as thousands are expected to flood into the town.
