Local scouts are helping to run a Christmas tree collection and recycling scheme.
The scheme run by the 1st South West Cheshire Scout Group (The Andrews) in Crewe will raise money in aid of local Scouts, to support local children between 6-14 to gain skills for life.

This amazing Remembrance Day “Ribbon of Poppies” cascade with silhouetted soldiers has been unveiled at Wistaston & Rope War Memorial.
The 70ft high cascade was installed by the 35th South West Cheshire (Wistaston) Scout Group, made of more than 5,000 plastic bottle ends donated by Scouts and members of the public.

Wistaston Scouts have launched their latest Remembrance Day display appeal – and need more plastic bottle ends!
For the past two years, the Wistaston Scout Group has displayed its impressive 24ft long Remembrance Day poppy cascade in the village.

Wistaston Scout Group is to discontinue its aluminium can collection scheme in Wistaston after running for eight years.
The scheme was set up and organised by Gerald Newbrook with numerous aluminium can collection bins located throughout the village.
