The awards are run by the Safeguarding Adults Board and the Children’s Safeguarding Partnership in Cheshire East.

A village school near Nantwich has been placed in “special measures” by Ofsted amid concerns of pupil safety and behaviour.

The move, which has shocked staff and governors at Bunbury Aldersey C of E Primary, relates to safeguarding and pupil behaviour issues.

Crime Commissioner “disappointed” at Cheshire East missing child sexual exploitation “summit”

Cheshire’s Police Crime Commissioner has taken a swipe at Cheshire East Council’s leader for missing a key “summit” on tackling child sexual exploitation.

Crime Commissioner John Dwyer said it was “disappointing” that Cllr Michael Jones had not attended the meeting.
