Young defensive lineman George Hopley could play a key role for Crewe Railroaders this season, the club says.
Hopley has continued to impress in pre-season training having joined South Cheshire’s American Football side in July last year.
The man who died when his car and a lorry crashed on the A51 bypass in Nantwich was named today as Richard Hopley. The 56-year-old, from Crewe, was travelling towards the A500 at Cheerbrook roundabout, Willaston when his car collided with a truck.
