Reports of dogs being left in hot cars has hit a three-year high despite a major campaign to raise awareness of the dangers.
And Cheshire is among those counties which have seen a rise in reports in the past year.
Police were called to reports of a man wielding a gun at a property in Nantwich earlier today (July 10).
The alarm was raised at 3.50am amid reports of a man with a gun going into a property at Baronia Place in Nantwich.
