Rare red squirrel admitted to RSPCA Stapeley Grange

The RSPCA wildlife centre in Nantwich has admitted a rare patient – a red squirrel.

The elusive squirrel – a native British species which is only seen in certain parts of the UK – was admitted to RSPCA Stapeley Grange after being found orphaned in Liverpool.

RSPCA staff in Nantwich have been hard at worked nursing this injured red squirrel back to health. The protected mammal was taken to the Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in London Road after being hit by a car.
