Crewe and Nantwich radio station The Cat 107.9FM has launched a monthly award which follows the Community Hero Awards given out during Covid-19 pandemic.
The Local Legend Award looks to recognise the work of local individuals and organisations who have gone the extra mile in support of their communities.

Regulator OfCom has confirmed The Cat Community Radio Station’s FM frequency as 107.9.
Nantwich Town Council has awarded a grant of more than £13,000 to The Cat Community Radio.
The cash will help the Nantwich-based station complete the final preparations before going live on FM transmission.
Nantwich-based The Cat Community Radio is to launch a new website this weekend. A team of volunteers has been working on the construction and content of the new site which goes live on July 28/29.
