A teenage boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a puppy in Crewe, police revealed today.
The hunt to find Mela, a Jack Russell Terrier puppy, went viral after CCTV appeared to show the dog being stolen from her young owner.
Nantwich house builder David Wilson is sponsoring a Guide Dogs for the Blind Association puppy.
The company, currently building the second phase of homes at Stapeley Gardens, has given £7,500 to support the training of a two-month old Golden Labrador Retriever called Wilson.
The RSPCA are appealing for help to trace the owners of a puppy found in Wybunbury, near Nantwich. The 12-week-old Rottweiler puppy was found by passersby in a street with no owner tag.
