Rogue South Cheshire driveways trader found guilty at magistrates

Trading standards officers in Crewe and Nantwich sent out a stern warning to rogue traders after prosecuting a driveways businessman. Lee Potter, 34, of Eardswick Lane, Minshull Vernon, pleaded guilty to five offences of fraudulent trading under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations Act.

Nantwich cattle dealer pleads guilty to breaching TB laws

A cattle farmer near Nantwich has been convicted in court of breaching TB regulations. Anthony Kirkham, of Ridley Farm, Bunbury, was given a  four-month custodial sentence, suspended for  two years.
