Nantwich shop and business owners have been taking part in Nantwich Pride Festival 2021, writes Jonathan White.
Numerous outlets set up window displays in their premises in support of the festival.
The postponed “Pride in the Park event” scheduled to take place at Queens Park in Crewe has now been set a new date – as a a “Virtual Pride” event.
Virtual Pride 2020 will take place on Saturday July 25 from 2-7pm.
Carrie Dunn will launch her new book ‘The Pride of the Lionesses: The Changing Face of Women’s Football in England’ at the Nantwich Bookshop on October 11.
Carrie is also author of “The Roar of the Lionesses: Women’s Football in England” – named one of The Guardian’s best sports books of 2016.
Hundreds of people are set to take part in the Nantwich Pride event this weekend.
It is being staged at the Railway Hotel in Nantwich on Saturday (July 13), and is the latest of a number of Pride events supported by Cheshire East Council around the borough.
