The hospital’s Paediatric Assessment Unit, Ward 16, has been transformed in a year-long project, which is part of a wider plan to refurbish all of the hospital’s wards.

Patients in Nantwich are being seen and treated for suspected cancer faster than the national average, latest NHS England figures show.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT), which manages Leighton Hospital, has been named as one of the leading trusts in terms of the proportion of cancer patients seen and treated within the expected time frames.
