Gareth Gates and the cast of Cheshire’s biggest pantomime, Cinderella, officially launched the show at Bridgemere Garden Centre in Nantwich.
Gates, who will play Prince Charming in the show at Crewe Lyceum, was joined by Alice Baker (Cinderella), Adam C Booth (Buttons), and Ugly Sisters Richard Foster King and Darren Southworth.

And on Saturday night I was lucky enough to go to the opening night of “Jack and the Beanstalk” at The Lyceum in Crewe.
Crewe Lyceum Theatre is promoting its traditional Christmas pantomime this year – with a new Crewe Pantomime Challenge game for mobile phones!
The game has been inspired by pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, and is available for iOS and Android users.

Cheshire’s biggest pantomime “Jack and the Beanstalk” is already blooming with a ‘giant’ panto launch at Bridgemere Garden Centre, Nantwich.
The stars were out in full force for the event with Lisa Riley and Brendan Sheerin exploring the centre’s gardens and joining supporters of Crewe Lyceum with a special meet and greet.
The star of Channel 4’s Coach Trip Brendan Sheerin is the latest big name signed up for Crewe Lyceum’s panto later this year. Sheering will play “King Brendan” in Jack and the Beanstalk alongside Strictly Come Dancing and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley.
Ex Strictly Come Dancing star Lisa Riley will lead the 2014 pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, Crewe Lyceum bosses revealed. Riley became a household name as Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, and won awards including ‘Most Popular Newcomer’, ‘Funniest Person in Soap’ and ‘Most Popular Young Achiever’.

Young Nantwich actor George Knapper has been helping Peter Pan panto tickets fly out of the box office! George stars as Peter Pan alongside Ceris Hine as Tinkerbell in the panto at Crewe Lyceum from December 14.
South Cheshire community station RedShift Radio is teaming up with the Crewe Lyceum Theatre to host a festive Christmas Gift Fair. The event at the theatre will take place on Saturday November 30 from 10am-3pm.
