Millfields Primary School in Nantwich has been hailed as a “very special place” by Ofsted during a recent inspection.
The school and nursey, off Marsh Lane, was given an overall “Good” rating after the inspection visited in January.

A new shared vision “for children and young people in Cheshire East” has been formally endorsed by the borough’s cabinet.
The vision includes aims such as making “families and communities strong, welcoming and supportive, where differences are celebrated”.
Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary school has been rated as “good” by Ofsted in its first inspection since becoming part of the Rural Church Schools Academy Trust in 2017.
The school, inspected in January under the new Ofsted framework, was rated outstanding in three out of the five categories.

Cheshire East Council children’s services could face a £167,000 budget cut – despite a recent Ofsted report saying it “requires improvement to be good”.
The proposed budget cut for “early help” children’s support in 2021-22 will not affect front-line services, councillors have been told.
