A super second half goal from sub Steve Jones sent Nantwich Town through to the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round against a difficult Shepshed Dynamo side.
The first half offered little in terms of clear chances for either side, but Dave Cooke’s men turned it up a gear after the interval and came away with a 1-0 win.
Nantwich Town were held to a 1-1 draw by a strong Marine side in wet and windy conditions at the Weaver Stadium.

A stoppage time winner from midfielder Sean Cooke saw Nantwich Town progress to the second qualifying round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win at City of Liverpool FC.
Cooke’s deflected effort in the fifth minute of added time in the second half saw the Dabbers overcome an impressive Liverpool side who had earlier pulled the game level through Luke Denson’s free kick.
Nantwich Town secured a valuable 3 points with a 2-1 away win at Mickleover Sports.
Two goals in six second half minutes earned the Dabbers all three points in Derbyshire.
Nantwich Town got their 2017-18 campaign up and running with a deserved first victory of the season at home to Workington.
And they have keeper Krystian Burzynski, in for Fabian Spiess who dislocated his shoulder against Altrincham, to thank with a superb display.
