A Nantwich college boss believes closing a local golf course to make way for expansion will benefit the town. Meredydd David, principal of 7,500-student Reaseheath College, told Nantwich Town councillors all other avenues have been considered.
Christmas has come early in Nantwich after 40 advertising hoardings promoting the town’s traders were unveiled. The boards, which also promote the November 30 Christmas lights switch on, are a joint project by Nantwich Town Council and local businesses.
