Nantwich Town councillors are reviewing how effective the town’s CCTV cameras are in tackling crime and disorder. The council is set to take over the running of the 15 cameras from Cheshire East.
Nantwich police made 18 arrests as drunken youths marred the success of the town’s Jazz, Blues and Music Festival. Officers also issued 13 section 27 orders against yobs, banning them from entering the town for specified periods.
