Stapeley pupils enjoy surprise mystery reader in Nantwich Mayor

Young pupils at Pear Tree Primary School in Stapeley enjoyed their latest mystery reader when Nantwich Town Mayor arrived in his full regalia!

Cllr David Marren wore the Mayoral gold chain and robes as he read the story of “Nora, the child who ate and ate and ate…” to 4 and 5 year olds.

Youngsters at Shavington Primary School were treated to a “mystery reader” in full costume.

Nantwich Mayor Cllr David Marren turned up in full Mayoral regalia and gold chain to read the Year 1 pupils “The Emperor’s New Clothes”.
