Thousands of people turned in across Crewe and Nantwich to pay their respects on Remembrance Sunday.
Parades and services were held in both Crewe and Nantwich town centres as families remembered those who have fallen in conflict over the last 100 years.
Thieves stole from a South Cheshire War Memorial just yards from a police station and magistrates court. Shocked officers and councillors have blasted the “mindless” thugs who targeted the memorial on Municipal Square, Crewe.
