The Minshull Vernon and District Parish Council (which covers the Parishes of Leighton, Minshull Vernon and Woolstanwood in South Cheshire) has supported the criticism of the Cheshire East Council by the Pickmere Parish Council.
Minshull Vernon Parish Council has awarded a £3,500 grant to the Axis Academy to help it develop its sensory garden.
The Axis Academy is a new Special School in the Woolstanwood parish, which is part of the Parish Council’s area.

On the 10th of June between 4pm and 9pm the residents of Leighton, Woolstanwood and Minshull Vernon will be able to vote in a Parish Poll to express a view on the proposals by the Borough Council to abolish the Woolstanwood and Leighton Parishes and become part of Crewe Town Council and the proposal by the Borough Council to merge the Minshull Vernon Parish with the Church Minshull Parish.
A South Cheshire parish council has added a splash of colour to Leighton Hospital entrance after donating a rainbow bench.
