Police extend bail for Nantwich man arrested over A530 death

A Nantwich man arrested in connection with the A530 road death of pensioner Michael Betts has been re-bailed by Cheshire Police. The 21-year-old was arrested after Mr Betts, 74, was killed when he was hit by a van as he was walking along Middlewich Road, Nantwich, near Alvaston Hall Hotel.
