MRI Scanner Appeal unveils “Send Us Your Elfie” campaign

Hospital bosses in South Cheshire have launched a festive fundraising campaign for the MRI Scanner Appeal – called “Send Us Your Elfie”!

The Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity wants people to don their best elf outfit and take a selfie, post it on social media sites, and nominate friends, family and colleagues to join in.

A 40-year-old Nantwich dad is in training for a 75km bike marathon in the Welsh mountains to raise money for a £1 million hospital appeal. Simon Warbrook, of Stapeley, will tackle a challenging route starting and finishing in Rhayader, the gateway to the spectacular Elan Valley in Mid Wales.

A night of fashion and shopping in Nantwich helped raise almost £1,500 for Leighton Hospital. The event at Richmond Village Nantwich will help fund extra equipment and refurbishment projects across Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
