Hospitals Charity wants community to get crafty in dementia appeal

Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity is calling on residents to get crafty by supporting the ‘Everybody Knows Somebody’ Dementia Appeal with Forget-Me-Not Flower pins.

It is appealing to keen crafters of all ages to make the flowers in blue wool with yellow centres, which can be crocheted or knitted in minutes.

A Dementia Friendly Christmas Tea Dance helped raise hundreds of pounds for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity at Leighton Hospital.

It was organised by Dementia Action Alliance at Beechmere in Crewe and refreshments were donated by Tesco Extra in Crewe.

A Nantwich fitness instructor will be teaming up with Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity, to run the charity’s first ever Boot Camp.
