The leader of a Nantwich litter picking group says scenes like these are becoming all too common.
And mounting debris and rubbish dumped by people has prompted Nantwich Litter action to issue a plea for help – despite already having 106 members.
A new informal South Cheshire Rotary Club has been launched in Nantwich for business people.
The inauguration ceremony of the club took place at Richmond Village in Nantwich and will meet there weekly at 7.30am each Wednesday for an hour.
An appeal has gone out to attract new members to the South Cheshire George Formby Ukulele Society.
The group, which meets and performs in Wistaston Memorial Hall, is free to join and play regularly throughout the year.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
