It will be a dog’s day out at the annual Marbury Merry Days event this weekend.
The two-day festival has set aside the second day, May 15, as “The Day for Dogs” at the village event near Wrenbury.
The annual ‘Marbury Merry Days’ two-day traditional country fair has been cancelled for 2021 due to Covid-19, writes Jonathan White.
The fair is organised by St Michael & All Angels Parochial Church Council and would have taken place in the field next to the church and Marbury Big Mere, near Wrenbury.
Two more popular summer events near Nantwich have been cancelled or postponed because of Covid pandemic restrictions.
Wybunbury Fig Pie Wakes organisers have decided to cancel its event which was due to be held on June 12.
