I am writing to ask your readers to raise a mug for Macmillan Cancer Support’s 30th annual Coffee Morning so we can provide vital support to people with cancer, who need it now more than ever.

South Cheshire Model Engineering Society hosted a fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support on their premises at the rear of The Peacock Inn in Willaston.
A charity 50/60s disco is to be held at Crewe Vagrants in Willaston in aid of two life-saving causes.

Wistaston Singers helped raise hundreds of pounds for local causes at a fund-raising concert in St Mary’s Church Hall, Wistaston.
Musical director Phil Houghton introduced each song and soloist, with Treona Holden the accompanist for the show.
South Cheshire College student Chelsea Palfreyman has had her locks chopped for charity.
The Health and Social Care student took part in ‘Brave The Shave’ and has raised over £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Students from Malbank School and Sixth Form College in Nantwich hosted a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A variety of delicious cakes were donated by students, parents and staff and enjoyed by all.
Caring students and staff in Nantwich have raised a record £20,380 for Macmillan Cancer Support – with more to come.
