The NHS in Cheshire is urging people to contact their doctor if they have had a cough for more than three weeks.

The plea was made by hospital respiratory teams, GPs and NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

A fund-raising tea party is being staged in Stapeley to raise funds for double lung transplant youngster Elle Morris’ post surgery treatment.

Elle, from Wrenbury, who starts Brine Leas School in Nantwich this week, had the transplant six months ago.
