Volunteers who run Nantwich in Bloom group have been honoured for helping the town scoop another Gold award.
North West judges of the prestigious Britain in Bloom competition were once again bowled over by Nantwich’s floral look.
Students at Reaseheath College in Nantwich picked litter from one of town’s major gateways as part of the ‘Clean for the Queen’ campaign.
Wearing hi-vis vests and armed with litter pickers and bin liners, the students cleared refuse from the A51 roundabout and major roads near the college campus in Nantwich.
Nantwich Litter Group volunteers have called on residents to stop turning areas of the town into “grot spots”. The group is increasing in numbers, but needs more people to tackle the growing litter problem.
