Nantwich Town were held to a 1-1 draw by a strong Marine side in wet and windy conditions at the Weaver Stadium.
The Dabbers had taken a first half lead and looked in control despite Marine pressure.
Nantwich Town have re-signed two key players, in goalkeeper Krystian Burzynski and defender Joel Stair.
Manager Dave Cooke believes the deals will help the Dabbers form a key defensive unit as the 2017-18 season draws nearer.

Nantwich Town earned their first victory of the month in the dying minutes of an atmospheric game against Sutton Coldfield.
The last-ditch winner came from Lewis Short in the 88th minute of a game that also saw the Dabbers pick up their second clean sheet of the season thanks to keeper Krystian Burzynski.
