Nantwich Town has agreed a new commercial partnership with Applewood Independent.

The Nantwich-based family firm of independent financial advisers has become a platinum partner to the football club.

A new Nantwich Football Academy run by Nantwich Town and Malbank School & Sixth Form College, will kick off in September. Sixteen-year-olds can study for a BTEC Diploma in Sport at Malbank Sixth Form while being coached at Nantwich Town FC.

Big-hearted Nantwich Town fans have dug deep to raise funds for a new tannoy system at the club’s Weaver Stadium. The Independent Supporters Association unveiled the system in the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van stand before the final home game of the season.
