A new Reaseheath College halls of residence in Nantwich has been dedicated to a man who helped turn them into a training leader. Platt Hall has been named in memory of John Platt OBE.

A young farm vet from Nantwich is looking forward to global travel thanks to a Reaseheath College scholarship. Sara Pedersen, who works for Nantwich Veterinary Group, was awarded a £2,000 John Platt Travel Scholarship at The Cheshire Show.
Reaseheath tributes paid after death of farming champion John Platt
Reaseheath College in Nantwich has paid tribute to one of the area’s farming champions John Platt, who has died aged 82. Mr Platt was chair of Reaseheath’s College Board for 14 years, retiring two years ago, and was a long standing governor.
