A young Nantwich Scout has been hailed a hero after he and a friend saved the life of a fellow teenager during the World Scout Jamboree in America.
Sam Knight, 14, from Nantwich and Tom Forbes, 15, from Northwich leapt into action when they watched another scout suffer a horrific mountain bike accident during the event.
Nantwich Civic Hall is to host ‘Gin Jamboree’ tasting event on Friday September 29.
Gin lovers across South Cheshire will be lining up to attend the event, which will feature more than 100 artisan gins from around the globe.
