A driver was killed today after a collision involving two HGVs which closed the M6 motorway between Junction 16 for Nantwich and 18. The accident happened on the southbound carriageway, and police say the closure is likely to be in place for some time.
Hundreds of commuters were delayed after a lorry got stuck on the A500 between Nantwich and the M6. Cheshire Police had to close the main trunk road in both directions during the incident at 5.30am (November 10).
