Cheshire Wildlife Trust joins campaign to halt “catastrophic” decline in insects

Cheshire Wildlife Trust has launched a campaign to “Take Action for Insects” as part of a nationwide movement to tackle the catastrophic collapse in insect numbers.

Wildlife Trusts across the UK are encouraging people to sign up to receive a free guide showing them how they can make a difference at home.

Reaseheath students’ insect home receives Royal seal of approval

Animal Management students at Reaseheath College in Nantwich have received royal approval after they built a palatial home for insects.

The students modelled “Bug’ingham Palace” on the Queen’s London residence and built it from packing cases, wood offcuts, chicken wire, branches and foliage from native trees.
