A young primary school pupil near Nantwich has achieved an incredible hat-trick – in horse showing.

Ten-year-old Annie Goodwin has just qualified to show at the Royal International Horse Show with pony Treowen Ranger.

Reaseheath College equine students involved in the Horse of the Year Show, also showed their acting talents in front of a royal audience. Fifteen of the 36 students who worked at the show in Birmingham had a crash course in acting so they could appear as extras in “The Final Charge”.

Reaseheath College equine students treated to Christmas show

Equine students at Nantwich’s Reaseheath College enjoyed a Christmas show as a reward for their work at the Horse of the Year Show. Thirty six students and two staff provided the arena party for HOYS, which is the biggest indoor show in the British Isles and attracts thousands of competitors and spectators.
