MP Edward Timpson: Muller Homes appeal decision “well worth the wait”

Crewe & Nantwich MP Edward Timpson spoke of his delight after the Muller Homes appeal to build 1,100-homes in Stapeley was thrown out by the Government.

Muller had appealed after an initial refusal by Cheshire East Council to allow their first phase of the proposed “Nantwich South” village off Peter de Stapleigh Way.

Campaigners win fight to stop 880 homes at Gresty Oaks, Shavington

Residents and councillors in Shavington have won their fight to stop a 880-house development at Gresty Oaks.

Developers Himor Group had appealed to the Secretary of State after Cheshire East Council originally threw out the plan for the massive development bordering the A500, Gresty Road and Rope Lane.

Shavington campaigners urged to”fight” Gresty Oaks planning inquiry

A councillor has urged campaigners to prepare for a tough battle at appeal over plans for 880 homes near Shavington. Developers have appealed to the Planning Inspectorate over their bid to build the “Gresty Oaks” site on green land bounded by Crewe Road, Rope Lane, Gresty Lane and the A500.
