The full list of candidates for next month’s Cheshire East Council elections have been confirmed.
Voters will head to the polls on Thursday May 2 to decide who they want to represent them on the borough council for the next four years.
Alpraham resident Mark Sharkey has been chosen by Green Party as candidate in next week’s Bunbury ward be-election.
The seat – which covers the communities of Acton, Alpraham, Aston, Barbridge, Church Minshull and Reaseheath and Bunbury, was vacated by former Cheshire East Council Leader Michael Jones.
Candidates battling for election to Nantwich Town Council have been announced.
Twelve councillors in all will be voted in on May 7 – seven to represent Nantwich and West Ward, and five to represent Nantwich South.
Green Party members have selected Dr Andrew Garman to stand in the Eddisbury constituency at the General Election.
Garman, 61, is semi-retired scientist and lives in Ashton Hayes village, in the north of the constituency.
