A Malbank student from Wistaston has received an award from Diabetes UK after raising funds to support vital research.
Emma Horne, 16, received the ‘Young Person’s Outstanding Contribution Award’ during a service at St Mary’s Wistaston.
Leighton Hospital teams raised more than £4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support – the highest of any hospital in Cheshire. The teams ran various coffee and cake events, to top the Cheshire fund-raising league for the second year running.
Reaseheath College students rocked, cycled, paddled and hiked to raise funds for charity during the college’s annual RAG Week. An RSPCA inspector is to run an amazing 1,500 miles across South Africa to raise money for Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in Nantwich. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
