Crewe & Nantwich Scorpions Ladies Netball team have secured funding for new kit to play in the South Cheshire Championship League.
The team has been awarded a kit donation by Cheshire Freemasons after a plea by player Katie Richmond.
Girl guides from Nantwich and other Cheshire towns will benefit from a new Outdoor Activity Centre.
The centre was part funded by a Cheshire Freemasons donation of £17,000 to ‘Girlguiding Cheshire Forest’.
A charity that donates cuddly toys to distressed children at Leighton Hospital is celebrating a milestone.
Cheshire Freemasons launched their “Teddies for Loving Care” (TLC) scheme for Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which manages the hospital, 12 years ago.
Medical and nursing staff at Leighton Hospital have thanked members of a Freemasons group for donating over 10,000 teddy bears for child patients. The bears are given to poorly youngsters to comfort them while being treated at the emergency department at Leighton Hospital.
