Four free car parking days are being offered in Nantwich and other towns in a bid to boost retailers emerging from the pandemic.
A previous parking incentive scheme is due to expire on August 31 2022.

The new Nantwich Roots Festival begins tomorrow celebrating folk, roots and Americana and bringing internationally known names to Nantwich.
It is also giving a stage to new, emerging acts in the town from May 11-15.
PCR testing sites in Crewe and Macclesfield will be closed from Friday (April 1) as part of central government plans to close all free testing sites by the end of March.
Also, from Friday 1 April, free LFD tests will end.
Free adult cycling sessions including Learn to Ride and Commuter Confidence are to be launched in Cheshire East next month.
The sessions, held in Crewe and Macclesfield, are being organised by Everybody Sport and Recreation.
Council bosses have agreed to offer Nantwich four FREE car parking days in the run up to Christmas.
The scheme is designed to boost the town’s economy in the festive season as local traders recover from the pandemic.

Plans to introduce parking charges in towns where it is currently free, have been controversially scrapped by Cheshire East Council.
If approved, charges would have been introduced in Middlewich, Alsager, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach and other towns in line with Nantwich, Crewe, and Macclesfield.
Everybody Sport and Recreation are to stage free holiday activity sessions for youngsters.
Holiday Activity Funding from Cheshire East Council has created places as well as packed lunches provided by Taste for Life for children who are entitled to receive free school meals.

Plans for a new primary school in Nantwich moved a step closer when councillors agreed to go out to consultation over the proposals and look for potential sponsors to run it.
As revealed by Nantwich News, the £3.5m free school is earmarked for land close to Nantwich Town’s Weaver Stadium and is needed to cope with rising pupils numbers created by a new housing development.
A proposal for a new “free” primary school in Nantwich has been unveiled by Cheshire East Council.
The school would be built as part of the new Kingsbourne housing development near Nantwich Town’s stadium between Waterlode, the A51 at Reaseheath, and River Weaver.

A bid to secure more free parking in Cheshire East towns like Nantwich in run up to Christmas has been rebuked by the ruling Labour-Independent coalition.
Conservative group leader Cllr Janet Clowes called on borough chiefs to relax some charges in council car parks in key market towns from December 3 until January 2021.
