Audlem man found guilty of £1,200 housing benefit fraud

A South Cheshire man who fraudulently claimed more than £1,200 in benefits has been ordered by magistrates to repay the money. David Wainwright, 42, formerly of Shropshire Street, Audlem, pleaded guilty at South and East Cheshire Magistrates’ Court.

A Nantwich woman has been found guilty of fraudulently claiming nearly £6,000 in benefits. Hazel Tinsley, 59, was given a 12-month community order and told to do 200 hours’ of unpaid work.
